The revival of Blue's rock in the past decade or so is almost solely due to the emergence of the Ohio duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney otherwise known as the Black Keys. The band name interestingly enough was inspired by a schizophrenic artist in their hometown of Akron who used the term 'black keys' to describe things he disliked or people he didn't trust.
