M83 is the brainchild of Frenchman Anthony Gonzalez named after the spiral galaxy Messier-83 and can be thrown into the category of shoegaze/electro-pop but I feel as if it isn't just enough to put them in a genre as there music is otherworldly and can simply be describes in one word: epic.
