Osheaga's Most Anticipated #9 - A$AP Rocky

If there is one show where you may not leave with all your limbs attached at Osheaga it's going to be Harlem born and bred rapper ASAP Rocky. With producers like Clams Casino, Spaceghost Purrp, and Hit Boy you really can't go wrong. ASAP combines the southern styler slow/chopped and screwed/drugged out rap with a new school style hype. Behind all the drugged out rap is the sad story of a kid whose father was imprisoned his entire childhood and the loss of his only brother at the age of 8 which finally led him to start taking rap seriously. Osheaga's Most Anticipated #16 - Florence + The Machine

One of the big headliners for the event I'll give a comparison from last year's lineup to Ellie Goulding. I don't really listen a lot to her original music but the remix treatment done on her songs are absolute gold. It seems to be the trend if you're at a festival with an artist who you've remixed that you drop that remix (last year Bassnectar dropped his Ellie Goulding remix for 'Lights') and it so happens to be that a decent amount of artists that are at Osheaga have remixed Florence (The Weeknd, Yeasayer, etc.). Her voice is extremely powerful and it shows in songs like 'Never Let Me Go' and 'Shake It Out' , enjoy...

FACT Mix - Air France

Sadly not too long ago Air France broke up but here is a mix they did for FACT magazine not too long ago, it is an awesome combination of Garage/Hip Hop/House, I linked some of my favourite songs into individual mp3s for solo listening pleasure. Your End of Weekend Tunes Vol.10

It's been a while, sorry for loafting but I shall promise lots of posts for the next couple weeks. First track is a banger disco house track from Italian producer Broke One, and yet to continue my tradition of making End of Weekend tunes Pre-Weekend Bangers I've added in a sick electro house song from Rusko's new album 'Songs' which I recommend checking out. Other than that i'm on a hip hop theme this week with a new Danny Brown track and two instrumentals from producers Kenny Dope and Clams Casino. Finally I shall introduce the 'indielectronica' genre through New Orleans kid Christoph Andersson, this song 'Capital' is an old favourite of mine and has a somewhat chill but also upbeat feel to it, enjoy..
