Your End Of Weekend Tunes Vol.19

Today I was struggling whether to give the Soundcloud spotlight to Chris Malinchak or Jonas Rathsman both signed to the incredible record label 'French Express'. I decided because I gave Chris the spotlight a couple weeks ago I'd give it to Jonas this week with an absolutely groovy nu disco tune. Keep an eye out for this label as it is definitely one of my favourites at the moment consistently putting out awesome indie electronic music and as they describe themselves "Feel good music". I'm also going to throw in a Perseus song (another artist off the label) that really captures what they're all about. Apart from that i've got a brand new Joker remix of Starry Eyed by Ellie Goulding accompanied with that classic Joker sound that everyone loves. I've thrown in an old Hudson Mohawke classic that flute gets me everytime along with another song from Joey Bada$$ (see the post from earlier this week. I've been jamming Parisian beatmaker Onra's new tune all week sampling classic 90's R&B into one of the funkiest tunes you will hear. Check out his new album just released on A-Trak's legendary Fool's Gold label it's called 'Deep In the Night ' and I highly recommend going out and getting a copy, enjoy..

Your End Of Weekend Tunes Vol.18

Apologies for the lack of posts in the past week and a bit i've been ratha ill but this post will make up for it. First up we got an awesome electro hip hop/future garage tune from Hermitude. Brand new remix from Bondax which is absolutely killer with vocal samples to die for, Pyramids by Odd Future crooner frank ocean is a 9 minute song in the same vain as The Weeknd almost drifting into a completely different song half way through (Part 2 is my favourite). The blog world has been abuzz with Ellie Goulding's cover of The Weeknd's 'High for This' produced by Chitty Bang's Xaphoon Jones and it lives up to its name. Next is the band 'Chairlift' who are signed to Young Turks the same record label as The xx, SBTRKT, and John Talabot. This song could have come straight out of the 80's with its catchy, synthyness in the same vain as Billy Idol. Final song this week is The Naked and Famous' epic remix of M83's Reunion that could be dropped in any action sports movie and it would fit perfectly, enjoy...

Your End Of Weekend Tunes Vol.13

This week is quite the mix of upbeat and downtempo so if your looking for something more chill in this post listen to Clams Casino remix of Swervin' or Between Time by Mount Kimbie. I've got some classic remixes in the lineup from Russ Chimes and RAC sure to brighten up your upcoming week. I've got a tune from Evian Christ who is a relatively anonymous producer from the U.K named Joshua Leary whose getting his tunes dropped in sets by the like of Clams Casino, keep an eye out for him.
